College About/History:
Gwadar Institute of Technology (GIT) has been established as a joint venture of the Pakistan Army and the Government of Balochistan, in order to provide quality technical education for Baloch youth. Institute aims at the skilled development of students from Balochistan in general and the Makran division in particular. GIT was inaugurated by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani in April 2011.
College Vision:
To strengthen the effectiveness and competitiveness of technical education through policy reforms to improve quality, relevance, and efficiency of Technical Education and Vocational Training in the Province of Balochistan.
College Mission:
Produce manpower; commensurate with the needs of the industry, to improve its quality to enhance the employability of students by moving from a supply-based system to a demand-driven mechanism.
