The Institute is located in District Pishin, Tahseel Karezath at Khanozai at a distance of 78 km north from the Provincial Headquarter Quetta. The region of Khanozai is well known for its educational fertility and high literacy rate. Education is the hallmark of this region. The Institute, with its campus, is spread over an area of 25.64 acres. region.

The Govt Polytechnic Institute Khanozai envisions to: i). Be the leading and premier polytechnic institute of the province and the region, by imparting futuristic technical education and producing highly competent, competitive, employable, and productive human resources ii). Make the students technologically competent and ethically strong so that they can readily contribute to the economic and social development of the region and the country.
